CM 191

by Pierre Paulin

Pierre Paulin applied for model protection for this long coffee table on 26 February 1959, although it was probably already on the market before then. Thanks to its clear, reduced form, the table is timeless and particularly sought after on the vintage market. Without a doubt, this coffee table is one of Pierre Paulin's most beautiful designs for the Thonet France company.

In search of ideal products, minimalist and use-oriented, Pierre Paulin developed the CM 191 coffee table in close collaboration with the technicians of the metal workshop and the joinery. In 2015, Ligne Roset reedited the CM 191 coffee table. The CM 141 desk (reedited by Ligne Roset under the name TANIS) and the CM 194 armchair (reedited by Ligne Roset under the name ARCHI) date from the same period.
