Since graduating from the Esad School of Art and Design in Reims in 2008, Philippine Lemaire has worked as a freelance designer in various fields, including furniture design, scenography and interior design. A former student of Eric Jourdan, she designs for the Giens stoneware factory and the Saint-Louis crystal glass factory, among others, and since 2013 for Ligne Roset. Her Itisy tables have attracted a great deal of attention since their launch.
Like the Itisy table, the Couliss side table is a functional yet charming table with several faces. Philippine Lemaire has placed great emphasis on the opening and movement of the swivelling top in the design. Couliss cuts a good figure both open and closed, in the bedroom as well as in the living room.
Body wood elephant grey lacquer, top American solid walnut, frame metal black lacquer.
