After his studies at the College of Decorative Arts and his stay at the Villa Medici in Rome, Guillaume Bardet is one of the most important French designers of the young generation, in addition to his teaching activities.
His vase Lundi 22/02 and his candlestick Dimanche 29/08 come from the astonishing project ''The Use of Days'': for more than a year, from 21/09/2009 to 22/10/2010, Guillaume Bardet designed an object every day, according to ideas and seasons, with the commitment not to repeat himself. This immense work was made by the ceramic artisans of the Drôme and some of them at the Sèvres Manufacture. Guillaume Bardet has received the award ''The Intelligence of the Hand'' from the Bettencourt Foundation for his work.
