Soufflot

Soufflot was created to decorate the magisterial and unique 32-metre-high Soufflot Dome of the former Hôtel-Dieu hospital in Lyon, which was converted into an InterContinental hotel in 2019. Jean-Philippe Nuel has used all his talent as an interior designer to create an armchair and a stool for Ligne Roset that emulates its special shapes and proportions. Soufflot evokes the special place to which it owes its creation, respectfully entering into dialogue between monkish simplicity and the splendour of Lyon's silk fabrics, its plain cover providing a contrast.
